Fuwa Manten, the top gal at school’s social hierarchy, has recently been putting on a few extra pounds. One day, Taichi Utsugi accidentally witnesses a tense confrontation where Fuwa is harshly criticized by a rival gal. When Taichi blurts out, "Your nickname should be 'Golden Meat Bun'," he can’t hold back his laughter — but this only fuels Fuwa’s fury.

As a result, Taichi finds himself roped into helping Fuwa with her diet. What starts as a simple challenge quickly turns into an unexpected semi-cohabitation, forcing these two very different personalities to navigate friendship, rivalry, and maybe something more.
